GNK Dinamo and Coca-Cola in Croatia have joined forces in a new partnership that will see one of the world’s leading beverage companies become a sponsor of Croatia’s most decorated football club. The three-year sponsorship agreement was signed by Zvonimir Boban, President of GNK Dinamo, and on behalf of Coca-Cola in Croatia by Dimitris Rompis, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Croatia, and Daniel Hrupek, Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Adria. As part of the agreement, Powerade becomes GNK Dinamo’s official sports drink, while Coca-Cola becomes the club’s official sparkling soft drink.
- Today’s signing is, above all, a sign of Coca-Cola Croatia’s respect for our club and for the new path Dinamo has embarked on after so many years. Coca-Cola and Dinamo share the same values. Our club is above all a sporting institution, but we are also deeply aware of our responsibility to the business community and of the unique identity we hold in the world of sport. Through this partnership, Coca-Cola has shown its concrete support for Dinamo, which truly makes us proud. And if there is a brand that has marked our lives globally, it is certainly Coca-Cola -
said Zvonimir Boban, President of GNK Dinamo.
- We are extremely pleased to begin this collaboration between Coca-Cola HBC and Dinamo as part of our wider partnerships with sports clubs. Coca-Cola has been produced in Zagreb since 1968, making it both a local and an international brand - much like Dinamo itself. We believe this marks the beginning of a strong and long-term partnership, through which Coca-Cola and Powerade will become even more accessible to fans and their guests - stated Dimitris Rompis, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Croatia.
- This strategic partnership with Coca-Cola further underlines GNK Dinamo’s ambition to connect with the very best partners across different industries. It strengthens our brand and market position, with a clear focus on long-term sustainability and excellence. Through this collaboration, we will enable stronger engagement with our fans and members by offering a new and enhanced experience - both during home matches and beyond the stadium, including social media activations and joint marketing and sales campaigns – said Hrvoje Puhalo, Member of the Management Board for Marketing and Sales at GNK Dinamo.
- For many years, Coca-Cola has been actively present in sport through partnerships with clubs, federations and sporting events, because we see sport as a space of togetherness, team spirit and top performance. We are delighted to continue our successful cooperation with Dinamo - one of Zagreb’s most recognisable sports symbols and an important part of the city’s sporting and social community. Through our brands Powerade and Coca-Cola, we aim to support a holistic approach to player preparation and performance, helping them meet the everyday challenges of training and competition, with a special focus on proper hydration and recovery. We are confident this multi-year partnership will contribute to new sporting successes, and we wish GNK Dinamo many outstanding results in the upcoming matches and the rest of the season – stated Daniel Hrupek, Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Adria.
This partnership brings together two brands that have lived alongside generations of people – deeply rooted locally and globally recognised.
