Coca-Cola HBC Adria helps young people take their first entrepreneurial steps

More than half of young people (57%) in Croatia are interested in starting their own business, but almost as many (52%) are not sufficiently or at all familiar with entrepreneurship.* That is why Coca-Cola HBC Adria is relaunching Coca-Colina podrška mladima, a free educational program that provides valuable knowledge for success in the labour market and inspiration for first entrepreneurial steps.

The program consists of three modules, and young people who are thinking about starting their own business or are considering turning their hobby into a job will be particularly interested in the module titled Start Your Own Story – Do What You Like. In this module they will learn everything about developing a business idea and achieving success in the world of entrepreneurship.

This module is also a response to the need of half of young people in Croatia* who pointed out that, in order to start a business, they need support in developing a business plan, as well as education and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs. Moreover, for all those seeking the knowledge necessary for working and living in a digital environment, Coca-Colina podrška mladima will provide useful insights into the world of digital marketing and offer effective strategies for dealing with stress.

"Coca-Cola HBC Adria has once again gathered top experts to provide young people across Croatia with the tools and knowledge that will help them boldly step into the labour market, find their first job or change careers. During the first six editions of the program, we encouraged more than 6,200 young people to gain additional knowledge. This year, we also want to inspire and encourage them to discover their passion and direct it towards successful entrepreneurship. Today, more than ever, it is important to invest in skills that foster success in the digital environment, as well as be mindful of  mental health, so the program addressed these topics and offers practical knowledge", said Aleksandra Todorović, Customer and Community Partnership Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Adria.

The program can be accessed via the Leap Academy platform. All you need to do is register and apply for the program, and immerse yourself into the experience and knowledge of top lecturers: social pedagogue Marija Mažić, entrepreneur Ana Hrgovčić, marketing agency owner Andrej Kajganić, client relations expert Dea Majetić, psychologist and mental coach Ana Čerenšek, and fitness trainer Mario Valentić. Participants can decide for themselves when and how they will complete the program, after which they receive a certificate of completion.
