For many years now, The Coca-Cola System has been helping the communities in which it operates through its CSR projects and local initiatives, as well as through providing financial assistance to support the work of associations helping the most vulnerable. This year we decided to donate to four soup kitchens in Croatia to support their activities during the Easter season. We thus donated to the Osijek Red Cross City Society, the Rijeka Red Cross City Society, the Dobri dom Institution of the City of Zagreb, and the Split-based institution DES.
The soup kitchens allocated the received donations in accordance with their needs. The Osijek Red Cross City Society, for example, used the donation to purchase stainless steel food carriers to enable delivery of hot meals to the people it serves, and thus help them stay in their homes and avoid exposure to the coronavirus.
The Coca-Cola System will continue to support the local community and its needs in all the countries in which it operates, whether through financial assistance or through active involvement in the form of CSR projects and initiatives.
