Coca‑Cola Hellenic carries out its Danube protection project in 10 countries of the Danube basin. A number of events were staged in Croatia throughout June, as part of “Our Beautiful Sava” project, aimed at preserving this important tributary of the Danube.
With the support of Coca‑Cola HBC Croatia and its water brand Bistra, Pag Tourist Board and Moj Bicikl Association organised the 10th traditional bike tour in the island of Pag. Participants of the 10th Pag Marathon belonged to different age groups and were at a different fitness level, and there were also some tourists from Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Hungary and some other countries. They all had a 46 km long rout ahead of them to finish in one afternoon.
Bistra bike tour: Zadar is back on the bike on the Millennium Photo by Šime Strikoman, which serves as a reminder of the cycling tradition in Zadar. Many tourists took part in the tour along with some public figures, all of them expressing their support for the idea.
One of the novelties is the educational and entertaining workshop Visible and Invisible Water World, organised by experts from Hrvatske vode and which has become part of the offer of all Sava fairs.

The aim of the promotional campaign ahead of and after the Bistra Bike Tour and the millennium photograph is to promote bicycles as a healthy means of transportation and still un-utilised tourism content.
Within the framework of Hrvatske vode’s workshop Visible and Invisible Water World, visitors had the opportunity to convince themselves of the water quality of Sava River on the stretch that passes through Županja.
By July 1, activities will also be organised in other towns along the Sava River to encourage people to return to their river.
